Dear Clients
On the 25th May 2018 a new Data Protection Act comes into force. In short it requires anyone holding data on another person or company to have express permission to hold and use that data.
Our company holds your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address and various information in respect of tenders that we have prepared for you along with quotations, valuations and final accounts in connection with active contracts that we have and are completing and stored where relevant.
This information is not made available to outside bodies other than Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Suppliers who are directly connected with a particular project.
We generally hold this information for 7 years just in case we get a similar project which we can refer to, cutting down the time spent compiling a new quote, or for guarantee purposes.
You can ask us for the full details of any information that we hold for yourselves and have that information adjusted in accordance with your request if any information is incorrect. You do have the option to have your data removed from our records in part or in full at anytime should your request us to do so.
In order for us to hold Data about yourself or your company, and to be able to contact you after the 25th May 2018 We have to receive written or email confirmation to do so.
If we do not receive permission from you by that date, then we must remove all data held by us in connection with yourself or your company.
By contacting us with contracts and enquiries you are accepting that we will keep hold of your data and passing it to third parties only directly linked to your Tender. We will never pass your details onto third parties for marketing purposes, if you wish to find out the details we hold on yourself or for us to remove any details just email us stating your request. All details will be deleted after 7 years in accordance with our policy.
Kind Regards
