CES completed the glass and stainless steel structure Merchants Manor in December last year. We want to share with you some images and details of the services we provided.
CES was contacted by Regan Builders in 2018. They were enquiring about the steel work for an extension to accommodate a number of new hotel rooms above ground level. Their plans would require a steel frame in which they could structure their prefabricated wooden rooms around. because of these requests, they would require both frames for the individual rooms, and a support structure to give the new extension. Giving the extension the correct height desired.
CES took on board their requirements. Understood their need for simplistic steel works. Using box section posts (SHS) coated in a zinc rich primer to create the support structure.
Once the steelworks were completed and the wooden structures had been finalised, the work on the glass and stainless steel Balustrade could begin. The design was clean, modern and simplistic. Suiting the contemporary feel of the hotel, purposeful and meeting legal regulations. CES used 10mm toughened glass, with stainless steel posts and clamps along with a stainless steel top rail. This enabled a sleek frame, allowing for a suitable balcony for the height of the structure without hindering the views of the hotels surroundings. The seamless flow that is created with this style of balcony is perfect for maximising enjoyment of views and location.
